About Me
Hello, and welcome to Skulls and Models — a curated collection of anatomical and zoological specimens built from decades of passion, study, and teaching.
My name is Dr. Jerry McNally, and I began collecting human and animal anatomical specimens in the early 1990s while attending graduate school. I lived near the Anatomical Chart Company and was fortunate enough to be given access to their legendary "Bone Room," where I personally selected many of the teaching specimens that now make up this collection.
Over the years, my collection expanded through reputable suppliers like Carolina Biological, donations from medical professionals (including my brother-in-law, a podiatrist), and my own acquisitions as I taught Human Anatomy and Physiology at several colleges and universities. These specimens were not just collectibles — they were working tools, used in classrooms to help students learn the intricacies of the human body and comparative anatomy.
Now, as I move toward retirement, I’m offering these ethically sourced, previously educational-use specimens — including real human bones, animal skulls, and replica anatomical models — for sale to new stewards: educators, students, artists, collectors, and enthusiasts who appreciate their scientific and historical value.
If you're looking for high-quality, legal specimens with real educational value and a trusted provenance, you're in the right place.
Feel free to reach out with questions or requests — I’m happy to help guide your selection.
